Ok, so im new to this website, so bear with me. My name is Dylan Hayes. I start Center for the Union County Patriots, and i am the second string nose guard also. I will be a sophomore this year. Alot of people (by that i mean nearly everyone) dont exactly support us. By this i mean, talking us down, not having faith, and disbelief. Sure, this year, we are faced with some tough opponents, but that doesnt mean we cant do something, even if its just leaving it all on the field. What most people who have never played football, and even some who have, dont realize is football is just as much of a mental game as a physical one. If you believe in us, we'll believe in us. If we believe in us, we put it all forth, and hopefully win more. So i urge all of you fans and community members to attend and talk as if you have some form of hope, because with hope comes victory. I agree whole heartly with you, I've never seen such a county that is soo quick to judge a team! I would love wins as well but you know not every year or every team is going to have their fair share, but they still need the support and encouragement to make the work and effort worth it to them. I hate the thought of someones memories of their high school football being negative. Even if you guys loose every game I'll still support you and you'll never hear a negative word. Go Patriots!! It is a physical,mental game like you said and with support you can feel the heart you have to have to play and win. Ignore all the negatives Like it says in the movie Visualize and use it as tackling fuel.
